Job Description

DR Newitt are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established facilities and engineering services business.

This is a mobile role covering sites across London, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of air conditioning systems, working across multiple manufacturers and customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Servicing, maintaining and repairing split AC systems.

  * Working on VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.

  * Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

  * Diagnosing faults and completing remedial repairs.

  * Completing work-related documentation accurately and on time.

  * Maintaining clear records of inspections, maintenance and remedial works.

  * Working on refrigeration equipment where required, including chilled cabinets, multidecks and ice machines.

  * Providing a professional service across customer sites.

  * Participating in an on-call rota when required.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in commercial maintenance or facilities management.

You should have:

  * Previous experience working within air conditioning maintenance.

  * Experience servicing and fault-finding on split systems and VRV/VRF equipment.

  * A background within a maintenance, facilities management or similar engineering environment.

  * FGAS & ODS certification.

  * A relevant apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ or equivalent qualification.

  * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

  * A professional approach and good customer-facing communication skills.

  * Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota.
