Job Description

Air Conditioning Technician | HVAC | Commercial & Industrial
Location: Central Scotland | Salary: Up to £49,400 per year (including paid travel)

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join a leading nationwide M&E company. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will install, service, and maintain commercial and industrial AC systems across multiple sites. As an Air Conditioning Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HVAC solutions while developing your skills and career within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Install, service, and repair air conditioning systems in commercial offices, industrial sites, shopping centres, care homes, and other client properties.

  * Carry out routine inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.

  * Work with leading AC brands such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, and other commercial HVAC systems.

  * Complete electronic job reports, manage schedules, and maintain clear communication with clients.

  * Maintain company van, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.

  * Attend ongoing training and development courses to stay up-to-date with industry standards, FGas regulations, and new HVAC technologies.

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as an AC Engineer or Air Conditioning Technician in commercial or industrial environments.

  * FGas Category 1 qualified.

  * Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  * Professional, friendly, and solution-focused with a “can-do” attitude.
