Job description

My client are a family-run HVAC business looking for a skilled Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team in order to build a team in Surrey. You'll primarily focus on residential and light commercial installations, with the opportunity — based on your experience and interest — to work on larger commercial HVAC projects.

What you'll be doing

  * Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

  * Leading Split installations, with scope to contribute to larger commercial HVAC projects

  * Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults using schematics, technical drawings, and manuals

  * Carrying out routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and reliably

  * Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades

  * Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

  * Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems, especially Single-Split, Multi-Split and Sky Air systems, experience in VRV will be considered as advantage.

  * Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment, and understanding the technical aspects from installations to maintenance.

  * Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools

  * Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work

  * A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong customer service skills

  * Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus, but not essential

Required licences/certifications

  * Full UK driving licence

  * F-Gas certification
