Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Mobile – Chesterfield and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £41,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call-Out: 1 in 5 rota
We’re working with a progressive and forward-thinking FM company that’s looking to hire an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support multiple commercial sites across the Chesterfield area.
This is a mobile role with a strong mix of planned and reactive work, offering excellent overtime potential, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to work on a leading contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and breakdown repairs
* Work on VRV/VRF systems, split units, and close control (cracked) air conditioning systems
* Service and fault-find predominantly on Mitsubishi and Daikin equipment
* Assist with general building services tasks when required
* Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance with H&S standards
* Be part of a 1 in 5 call-out rota
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
* F-Gas Certification (Category 1)
* Full UK Driving Licence – must be able to cover 7 sites
* Previous mobile engineering experience across commercial environments
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
