Air Conditioning Engineer
South West Region
£38,000 – £45,000 + Company Van, Fuel Card, Pension, Overtime & More
We are currently working with a highly respected and long-established Air Conditioning & Renewables Contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering quality building services across the South West. Due to continued success and growth, they are seeking a number of skilled and qualified Air Conditioning Engineers to join their dedicated team, working on a range of commercial refurbishment projects including schools, hospitals, and offices.
About the Role:
As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial air conditioning systems across a variety of sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to join a reputable company with a strong pipeline of projects and a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, servicing, and fault-finding on VRV/VRF and split-type systems
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems
* Working independently or as part of a team on commercial refurbishments
* Ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and in line with health & safety regulations
* Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery
What there looking for:
* Proven experience in commercial air conditioning installation and maintenance
* Relevant commercial refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications (e.g. F-Gas Category 1, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
* A professional, customer-focused attitude
