Job Description
Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a respected, forward-thinking nationwide contractor, as they look to expand their specialist Air Conditioning team.
With a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects, our client works across sectors providing commercial electrical installations, EV charging solutions, solar systems and now specialist HVAC services.
They’re offering a competitive salary of c£45,000 per annum, generous overtime rates (1.5× after 6pm & Saturdays, 2× on Sundays), a company van with fuel card, and excellent travel allowances including £25 food/drink allowance per overnight stay plus £30 uplift allowance. All travel, accommodation and meals are fully covered for occasional overnight trips (1–2 nights). Other benefits include 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, pension scheme and funded qualifications.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC and ventilation systems
* Carry out regular inspections to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
* Diagnose system faults and perform timely, accurate repairs
* Maintain accurate documentation including safety assessments and work reports
* Provide technical advice and excellent customer service to clients
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while on-site
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial air conditioning installation & maintenance
* Proven HVAC knowledge and hands-on experience
* Flexible with travel and occasional overnight stays
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
