Job Title: Air Conditioning Installation Engineer
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £44,000 - £46,000

A specialist HVAC, refrigeration and solar PV contractor who offer installation and maintenance services is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and occasional servicing of a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems in commercial environments including offices, retail, schools, defence and industrial buildings across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
As the Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
* Install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and ducted air conditioning systems.
* Carry out pipework installation and system wiring.
* Ensure work complies with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
* Complete job reports, commissioning sheets, and handover documentation.
Successful applicants will have the following experience and qualification:
* Proven experience in commercial air conditioning installation.
* Strong understanding of VRV/VRF, split, and multi-split systems.
* Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
* Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service.
* Experience working within a similar environment - commercial and industrial.
* Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1).
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
* Full UK driving licence.
