Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
ARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join their growing team, covering both commercial and residential projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects, from installations through to servicing, diagnostics, and repair. The role offers stability, progression, and the chance to join a supportive, established business.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and split units, to industry standards.
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on a range of systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues within commercial and domestic AC systems.
Order and fit replacement parts when required.
Test systems in line with current F-Gas requirements and record accurate results.
Work independently to identify and resolve issues while upholding company standards and safety procedures.
Deliver excellent customer service, providing professional advice and support where needed.
Maintain accurate records of work using the company’s operating system.
Skills & Qualifications:
F-Gas qualification (C&G 2079).
NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
Strong working knowledge of current F-Gas regulations.
Experience in installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and fault-finding.
Ability to work under own initiative with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Benefits:
