Job Description
Marble Talent is proud to represent a well-established HVAC company seeking a knowledgeable and proactive individual to support their growing operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer looking to transition off the tools into a more consultative and supervisory role. While some time will be spent in the office, the majority of the work will involve visiting sites across London and the surrounding areas.
Role Responsibilities:
*
Conduct pre-installation site meetings to evaluate job feasibility and suggest practical improvements. Prepare detailed build plans (with photographs) to guide on-site engineers.
*
Provide technical support to engineering and surveying teams regarding current and prospective projects.
*
Respond to installation and service/repair enquiries via phone and email.
*
Oversee and report on installation works carried out by internal teams and subcontractors, with daily updates covering progress, site issues, and Health & Safety compliance.
*
Deliver technical training sessions for surveyors and engineers.
*
Support with general administrative duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
*
F-Gas certification (essential).
*
Solid understanding of AC/VRF systems, particularly split, multi-split, and mini VRV/VRF setups.
*
Experience with ducted AC systems, including installation and duct fitting knowledge.
*
Experience with ventilation system installation and design.
*
City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline (minimum).
*
Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
*
Strong understanding of site Health & Safety protocols.
*
Proficient with IT and comfortable using digital tools for reporting and communication.
*
Excellent written and spoken English.
*
High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
*
Majority of work within the M25
Desirable Qualifications/Skills:
*
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
*
IPAF, PASMA, or Ladder Association certification.
