Location: Solihull, UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, UK-wide logistics company that continues to experience exceptional growth across its multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Air Freight Imports Coordinator to join a well-established team at their Solihull site.

The Opportunity:
As an Air Freight Imports Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day coordination of air import shipments. From customs clearance to client communication, you'll be working in a fast-paced, professional environment where attention to detail and great service matter.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating end-to-end air import shipments from origin to delivery
Managing customs clearance documentation and ensuring full HMRC compliance
Liaising with overseas agents, airlines, and internal teams
Providing regular client updates and maintaining service standards
Proactively resolving any delays or shipment issues
Keeping accurate records and data within internal freight systems
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Solid experience in air freight imports is essential
Strong understanding of UK customs procedures and documentation
Comfortable handling fast-paced logistics operations
Proficient communicator and confident liaising with global partners
Familiarity with freight systems such as ASM or CargoWise (preferred)
