Air Tightness Tester
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum

Location: Remote (Northern England and surrounding areas)
Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a leading company in the building compliance sector to recruit a Level 1 Air Tightness Tester! This role is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest building compliance team and contribute to ensuring compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations 2021. This is a remote role, offering excellent opportunities for career growth, with training towards Level 2 certification along with expertise in thermal imaging, sound testing, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform air tightness tests across domestic dwellings in compliance with the latest regulations.
Conduct site inspections to identify and address air leakage issues.
Evaluate architectural plans and provide professional recommendations for improvement.
Offer consultancy services to help clients reduce compliance risks and enhance energy efficiency.
Compile detailed, accurate test reports and suggest effective remedial actions.
Candidate Profile
To excel in the role, you should bring:
A Level 1 Air Tightness Tester certification (or equivalent qualifications).
A thorough understanding of Part L of the Building Regulations 2021.
Excellent attention to detail paired with strong communication skills.
A valid UK driving licence with flexibility for travel across Northern England.
