Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and competent Aircraft Structural Technician to join their workshop team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in structural repair and overhaul of key aircraft components, particularly in high-precision tasks involving aluminum and composite structures.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be capable of independently carrying out the following tasks on components including (but not limited to):
Flight Control Surfaces, Engine Inlets, Fan Cowls, Thrust Reversers, Landing Gear Doors, and Passenger Doors
* Fabrication and installation of flush repair doublers to inlet and flight control leading edge skins
* Replacement of inlet lip skin segments and flight control surface skin panels
* Removal and replacement of sub-assemblies (both riveted and bolted)
* Use of hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized workshop equipment to perform structural work to high standards
* Adherence to all relevant safety and quality assurance procedures
* Accurate documentation of work performed in accordance with regulatory and company standards
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience as a structural technician in an aerospace maintenance or MRO environment
* Proven experience working on components such as engine inlets, thrust reversers, flight control surfaces, etc.
* Competency in sheet metal fabrication and structural repairs
* Familiarity with flush repair techniques and bonded/fastened structures
