Airframe / Aerospace Fitters x4
Dukinfield
£17.07 per hour (after short probation)
Mon–Thurs, 7:00am–4:30pm
Looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced, clean aerospace environment? We’re after 4 skilled Airframe Fitters to join our client’s team.
Join a well-established engineering company with over 50 years’ experience supplying high-quality components to the UK aerospace sector.
What you'll be doing:
* Assembling metallic aerospace structures
* Working to SOPs and aerospace quality standards
* Using drawings and aerospace specs to guide work
Key tasks: drilling, countersinking, riveting, sealants, fitting helicoils, bearings, bushes, etc.
What we need from you:
* Solid experience in airframe/structural assembly
* Comfortable reading and understanding aerospace drawings/specs
* A real focus on safety and working to 5S standards
* Must pass a practical trade test at second interview
* Worked with solid rivets is key.
* Understanding of technical drawings.
* Airframe/structural fitter
* Expertise in drilling/CSK/riveting/colts
* Experience assembling different materials – (mostly aluminium)
