LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator to join the team! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities of our Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator:
Handling of daily airfreight tasks, both import and export, including raising of quotations, issuance of shipping documents, facilitate customs clearances, invoicing clients and passing of purchase invoices.
Negotiating rates for transportation to maximise both service and profitability.
Ensuring trade compliance with other countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes. Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
Having a strong customer focus with the ability to effectively communicate and approach all situations with a calm and sympathetic manner. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and both internal and external customers. Provide customers with regular and accurate updates and deal with any customer queries/complaints that may arise.
Investigation and planning of the most appropriate route for shipments, considering the nature of the goods, costs, transit times and security.
Ability to work in a demanding office environment and balance conflicting priorities to keep up with progressive deadlines.
What we are looking for in our Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator:
Positive, enthusiastic, dedicated and able to fit into a busy and productive forwarding team.
Have a good understanding of import and export operations with proven experience.
A confident communicator with the ability to influence.
Have a good general understanding of customs requirements.
