ALN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - 1:1 Support (Primary)
📍 Primary School | 📅 Start Date: 1st September | 💰 £88.94 per day (rate dependent on experience and client rate)
🕒 Full-Time | Term-Time Only
About the Role:
This is a full-time role, starting on the 1st of September, supporting a pupil with ASD who benefits from encouragement with socialising and structured guidance to complete classroom tasks. The pupil does not present with behavioural challenges but requires consistent support to develop emotional resilience and social confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support during lessons and social times
Assist the pupil with task completion and engagement
Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment to support emotional and social development
Work closely with the class teacher, ALNCo, and external professionals where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in a similar role supporting pupils with ALN, particularly ASD
Requirements:
Relevant experience in a school or ALN setting is essential
Ability to work full-time during term time
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Registration with the EWC as a 'School Learning Support Worker'.
Two references covering the last two years
