The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with learning activities and classroom tasks
Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development plans
Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
Providing emotional and behavioural support where required
Working closely with teachers and other professionals
Supporting pupils with personal care where necessary
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
