ALN Teaching Assistant - Cardiff & Surrounding Areas
Primary & Secondary Settings
We are seeking an enthusiastic ALN (Additional Learning Needs) Teaching Assistant to join schools across Cardiff and nearby areas. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development in inclusive learning environments.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with ALN in both mainstream and specialist settings
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and differentiated activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Supporting inclusive practice to ensure all pupils thrive
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting learners with ALN (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech & language needs, etc.)
Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or equivalent experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to learning support
