Job Description
We are currently working with a Further Education College based in West Midlands County who are looking for an Additional Learning Support (ALS) Manager to lead their Learner Services department. This is a high-priority role that requires an immediate start, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Details:
* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break) & Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
* Start: As soon as possible
* Type: Interim, with potential for permanent placement
* Location: On-site. Please note there is no flexibility in working hours and no remote working options available
Essential Criteria:
1. Qualified SENCo status
2. Previous experience as a SENCo or ALS Manager in an educational setting
3. Proven experience in claiming High Needs Funding and 19+ ALS funding
4. Experience managing support for learners with EHCPs and a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities
