As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials, primarily focusing on sheet metal. You will work closely with other team members to assemble components and ensure that all products meet the required specifications.
Duties
* Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in every weld.
* Fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
* Assemble parts and components as required, ensuring proper fit and finish.
* Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements
* Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG welding techniques.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
* Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to welding tasks.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects.
* Experience with stick welding is a plus but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
