Job Description

Are you passionate about additive manufacturing and looking to build your career in a fast-growing, innovative industry?

An award-winning UK additive manufacturing company is looking for a Junior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across customer projects, production engineering, and process improvement, working with technologies including FDM, SLS, SLA, and MJF.

The Role:

You will bridge customer requirements with manufacturing capability, supporting DFM, technical quoting, customer liaison and internal process engineering.

Responsibilities:

  * Review customer files and provide DFM feedback

  * Support quoting, material selection and application advice

  * Act as a technical contact for customer projects

  * Support production and NPI activities

  * Develop internal standards and improve manufacturing processes

  * Evaluate new materials, tooling and technologies

Experience Required:

  * Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field

  * Strong understanding of additive manufacturing processes

  * CAD capability and manufacturability knowledge

  * Experience in a production or AM bureau environment

  * Strong communication and organisational skills

  * Automotive or defence experience advantageous
