We’re recruiting on behalf of leading company for a GC-MS Analytical Chemist/ Team Leader to join their state-of-the-art laboratory.
This is a key role leading a team of lab analyst, delivering high-quality environmental testing across complex matrices using advanced GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead GC-MS analytical projects to meet targets
* Operate & troubleshoot GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation
* Supervise and mentor junior staff
* Develop and optimise analytical methods
* Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 quality standards
About You
* BSc in Chemistry (or related)
* Strong GC-MS / GC-MS/MS experience
* Background in an accredited lab (ideally environmental)
* Experience mentoring or leading Analysts
* Skilled in troubleshooting and method development
