Housing Community Safety Officer required on a temporary to permanent basis, to join a small, close-knit team, who work extremely hard to provide customer focused housing community safety for residents. Working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday, the salary will be £34,434.
Candidates applying for this role will have exceptional communication skills, with empathy but the ability to be firm, and remain implicitly organised.
Duties:
Work collaboratively with Tenancy Services Officers to deliver responsive and effective anti-social behaviour and community safety service to manage residents' expectations
Manage anti-social behaviour caseload of issues
Gather and review intelligence and evidence, including CCTV to identify anti-social behaviour and or criminal activity
Carry out visits to residents' homes, undertaking door knocking excises, surveys, and community events offering advice and assistance in relation to community safety and where necessary, escalate enforcement action
Escalate cases
Compose statements and prepare documentation that can be used in formal and legal action
Provide to victims of anti-social behaviour including attendance at Court

PensionExperience required:
Able to use lifts, climb up to 15 floors of stairs, and not afraid of heights
Knowledge or experience in housing, anti-social behaviour, community services are advantageous, however not essential
Previous Administrative experience is beneficial
A car driver with own transport is essential
Good Microsoft IT skills, organised, and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with empathy but the ability to be firm
Ability to multi-task a busy workload
