Job Description
We are working with a software company based in Cambridge who are looking to an Applications Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice and support to the sales team at all stages of the sales process
* Working with customers on the phone and in person
* Conducting training courses
* Creating and delivering product demonstrations at customer meetings
* Working collaboratively with developers and other application engineers
* Being present at conferences across the UK
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* A strong mathematical and physics background
* Experience with chemical physics
* An aptitude for problem solving
* Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
* Willingness to learn and expand existing knowledge
