Applications Engineer
Whitstable, Kent
Full-time, Permanent
Working pattern; Monday to Thursday; 8am to 4.30pm and Friday; 8am to 1.30pm. Hybrid working every Monday and Friday (after probation)

Key responsibilities:
* Develop product design solutions in response to client and sales enquiries
* Liaise with sales and BDMs to align engineering proposals with customer needs
* Create concept designs, compliance matrices, and detailed application notes
* Communicate closely with operations to ensure manufacturability
* Produce CAD drawings and engineering documentation
* Travel in the UK and overseas to meet customers when required
What we’re looking for:
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* 5+ years' engineering/design experience
* Strong 3D CAD skills (CREO preferred)
* Previous customer-facing experience
* Practical understanding of mechanical components and materials
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to travel
