Applications Engineer (Field based)
Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours / Hybrid 1 day in office - 4 days field based
Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £60,000.00 Per Annum Inclusive of annual bonus
Location: 4 Days field based / 1 day office based in Leicestershire

We are supporting a well-established client in Leicester who have been established for over 30 years with a huge presence across the UK. Due to further growth plans, they are seeking an Applications Engineerto join their team as an Applications Engineeron a Full Time Permanent basis.
Applications Engineer role:
Act as a central point of contact for suppliers and manufacturers as an Applications Engineer
Promote relevant electrical products internally and externally to the appropriate market through arranging customer visits UK wide as an Applications Engineer
Utilise your Electronics and/or electrical mechanical qualification using a consultative approach to selling appropriate products to the relevant target audience
Responsible for the promotion of key electrical products internally and externally
Attend client meetings as an Applications Engineer
Identify new market areas for new potential customers
Visit key suppliers onsite for business review meetings
Produce and monitor budgets for each item group and communicate accordingly to suppliers and internal colleagues as a Applications Engineer.
Manage a portfolio of products and understand lead electrical products establishing gaps and weaknesses as Applications Engineer
Willingness to learn and gain new skills and become a key player for the business.
Applications Engineer Candidate:
You will have a qualification in Electrical Mechanical Engineering
You will be driven and highly motivated in achieving results through the sales of Electrical products and increasing product portfolio
A Self-motivated and tenacious attitude with a winning mentality
Ability to work autonomously with own diary management as an Applications Engineer
Tech savvy!
