Applications Engineer | £35,000 - £45,000 | Cambridge
Our client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Applications Engineer to join their Cambridge-based team. As part of their global Applications Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional technical support and guidance to users of our client’s industry-leading software and hardware solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive innovation while providing world-class service to our customers.
The Role:
* Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance and support.
* Support customers throughout their entire journey with ATI products, including technical assistance, onboarding, and training.
* Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and develop real-world application examples to showcase ATI solutions.
* Maintain deep technical expertise across all ATI products as well as key third-party tools, such as those from The MathWorks (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
Key Skills and Experience:
* Motivated by working across a variety of applications and enthusiastic about adopting and implementing new technologies.
* Solid understanding of electronic control system development, including both software and hardware architectures.
* Familiar with control system communication methods and diagnostic protocols used in automotive applications.
* Experience or knowledge in powertrain calibration, CAN communication protocols, and vehicle instrumentation systems.
