We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer. This is an exciting first step into a commercial engineering role for someone who loves solving problems and interacting with people.
This isn't a typical desk job. You will be the crucial link between their cutting-edge robotic solutions and their clients' needs, helping bring innovative automation to life. You'll quickly become a 'guru' in the products, understanding their capabilities inside and out. Your role involves supporting our field sales team, taking inbound sales calls, and providing essential pre-sales technical support.
What You'll Be Doing as an Applications/Pre-Sales Engineer
You'll work closely with our sales team and clients to understand their unique challenges and identify how our robots can provide the perfect solution.
This involves examining detailed technical requirements and proposing customised solutions that address their specific needs.
You'll have the chance to showcase the power of their robotics through compelling demonstrations and presentations, both virtually and in person.
Your ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly will be key to your success.
You will also provide vital technical support throughout the sales process, answering client queries, assisting with proposals, and building strong, lasting relationships.Who We're Looking For as an Applications/Pre-Sales Engineer
A recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
A natural communicator with a confident and engaging personality. You should be comfortable talking to new people and building rapport effortlessly.
Someone with resilience and a proactive attitude. You aren't afraid to tackle challenges and contribute actively to sales activities.
A genuine interest in robotics and automation, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow in this exciting field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
The ability to explain complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
Some experience with CAD software would be a valuable bonus.
