By collaborating directly with the world’s most prestigious and innovative 3D printing brands, our client equips industry leaders with cutting-edge digital manufacturing solutions. As an Applications Engineer, you will be at the very forefront of this technological revolution. You will be the technical expert helping their clients solve their toughest engineering bottlenecks. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly drives our client's market expansion and generates exciting new business. This company heavily invests in its team's success. You will benefit from direct mentorship from a Senior Director, a clear fast-track for career progression (with opportunities to move into Senior Applications, Account Management, or Technical Leadership), and a lucrative salary plus commission structure. Beyond a comprehensive benefits package—including 24 days of annual leave, Bank Holidays, your birthday off, an EAP, and a pension—you’ll even get free access to their high-end 3D printing tech for your personal projects. Job requirements: * Consult directly with clients to understand their needs and clearly explain the technical and business benefits of 3D printing. * Run product demonstrations, produce print samples, and manage proof-of-concept projects. * Support customers with Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM). * Lead discussions with decision-makers and engineering teams. * Prepare technical documents, quotes, and presentations. * Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities for the business. * Collaborate with the marketing team to generate case studies, application content, and support lead generation campaigns. * Represent the company at trade shows, workshops, and client visits. * Keep all records and systems up to date, ensuring accurate entries in the CRM. * Deliver successful customer projects that show clear value to support the company's sales and growth targets. * Bring an enthusiastic, positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow. Experience required: * An engineering qualification (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related discipline). * 6 to 12 months of practical experience working with 3D printing technologies. * Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with fluent English. * Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Good computer literacy and experience using CRM systems. * A full UK driving licence
