An excellent opportunity to join a well-established company as an Apprentice Customer Service Practitioner. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary: £15,704 per year (Year 1), rising to £20,800 in Year 2 subject to satisfactory progress and performance. Location: Royston, SG8 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm 18-month apprenticeship with the opportunity for permanent employment - post-apprenticeship salary: £26,000 per year About The Role: The company is hiring a Customer Service Apprentice to join their friendly and fast-paced team within the construction industry. This role offers hands-on experience and structured training, leading to a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification. You’ll support customers, suppliers, and internal teams by managing enquiries, coordinating processes, and delivering excellent service. Responsibilities Include: * Handling customer and supplier enquiries (phone, email, and face-to-face) * Updating records and maintaining internal systems * Supporting admin for sales, estimating, and operations teams * Coordinating orders and following up on delivery status * Delivering professional, prompt customer service * Contributing to service improvement processes Training Details: * Study is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining online tutor-led sessions with face-to-face support at the employer’s premises * Apprentices will be supported by a dedicated tutor and have access to structured training throughout the programme * The apprenticeship concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), during which the learner will demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully complete the course Candidate Requirements: * Great communication and organisation skills * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Basic IT confidence (Word, Outlook, Excel) * No experience required – just reliability and enthusiasm Company Benefits: * Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification * Structured career development * Progression to a permanent position * £26,000 salary on successful completion of the programme If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.
