Approved Electrician
Middleton
Full Time plus overtime
Permanent
£20.32 per hour PAYE
Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hrs (including travel time)
Saturdays: First 6 hours at time and a half, double time thereafter
Sundays: Double time all day
Our client based in Middleton are looking for an Approved Electrician for work across different site around the UK
The ideal Approved Electrician will be reliable, loyal, and able to use initiative. You should be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach to site-based work. Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year, accommodation is a single room per person provided by the company at Premier Inn’s across the UK (if available)
Expenses are paid at £25 per night
Approved Electrician Key Responsibilities
Adhere to site safety standards and relevant regulations
Carry out tasks as instructed by the site supervisor
Install traywork, conduit, and trunking
Install SWA-type cabling of various sizes
Install distribution boards
Carry out electrical installation work in industrial environments
Approved Electrician Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Qualified Electrician (C&G / Apprenticeship / AM2 or equivalent)
C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
Valid CCNSG
Approved Electrician Desirable Qualifications / Experience
SHEA Passport (not essential)
SCO1 & 2 (not essential)
Strong communication skills
Able to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Willing to travel at short notice, including long distances
Flexible with working hours and staying away from home (Monday to Friday)
Good awareness of Health & Safety and CDM regulations on site
