We have an exciting opportunity for an Arboriculturist to join a south London Council's tree team as a full time Arboriculture Officer. Based in Morden, duties will involve undertaking surveys of the Council trees and accurately recording data on the in house computer system.
Candidates should be educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Arboriculture with surveying experience and have Lantra PTI. The work is primarily site-based, with tree inspections to be undertaken five days per week across the borough. We are seeking candidates with a strong technical approach, inspection capabililty, and ability to work independently. Candidates must be able to reliably travel to the borough each day, but the office has excellent public transport links and is easily accessible from all areas of the London.
In return a PAYE rate of c £20.58/hr is offered for a 36 hour week (c. £39k pa), allong with 28 days of paid leave (inc. bank holidays) and access to the generous pension scheme. This is a temporary role initially, becoming permanent for the right candidate after a probationary period.
