Job Description

Arborist 2nd Climber   

Location: Sandgate Industrial Estate, Sothwark, SE151LE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 3+ month

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 16.80 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Assist in tree climbing and maintenance tasks.

Support the lead arborist in pruning, cutting, and removing trees.

Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.

Operate and maintain arborist equipment and tools.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Perform ground duties such as clearing debris and preparing sites.

Person Specifications

Must Have

Experience in tree climbing and arboriculture.

Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

Ability to operate arborist tools and machinery.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Certification in arboriculture or related field.

First aid training.

Experience with tree health assessment.
