Job Description
My Architecture Client are looking for an Architect to join them on a permanent basis.
They are looking for someone with residential experience and who can use AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks. They also would like someone with experience who can hit the ground running!
Your main responsibilities will include:
Design and develop residential architecture projects, from initial concept through construction documents.
Produce accurate technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Collaborate with clients to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure design integrity and compliance with codes.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and construction administration as needed.
Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and renderings for client approval.
Ensure that all projects meet zoning, building code, and permitting requirements.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
3+ years of professional experience in residential architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (portfolio demonstrating skills is a plus).
Strong knowledge of residential building codes, standards, and construction methods.
Excellent design, graphic, and visualization skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
