The Architectural Acoustic Systems Manager is responsible for the development, commercial management, and delivery of company Acoustics’ architectural acoustic systems portfolio. The role focuses on design-led, visible acoustic solutions including timber acoustic panels, architectural wall systems, baffles, islands, rafts, and stretch ceiling systems.
This position operates alongside the sprayed acoustic division and is intentionally separate from sprayed acoustic finishes, standard suspended ceiling systems, drylining packages, and acoustic consultancy. The role is systems-led, commercially focused, and delivery-oriented, taking ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Business Development:
- Generate and develop enquiries for architectural acoustic systems.
- Engage with architects, designers, main contractors and clients.
- Review drawings and specifications to define scope and risk.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates and formal quotations.
- Convert opportunities into secured orders.
Project & Delivery Management:
- Act as primary contact from order through completion.
- Coordinate procurement, suppliers and lead times.
- Manage installation sequencing and delivery.
- Control variations, valuations and final accounts.
Internal & Supplier Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with operations and site teams.
- Develop strong relationships with key suppliers.
Scope Clarification
This role is dedicated exclusively to architectural acoustic systems and products. It does not include responsibility for sprayed acoustic finishes, standard suspended ceiling systems, drylining packages, or acoustic consultancy. Sprayed acoustic systems remain under the existing sprayed acoustic division.

Reports to: Directors / Senior Management
Works alongside: Sprayed Acoustic Division, Operations, Procurement, Site Teams and Suppliers
