Salary: £28-38,000 DOE

A specialist architectural and technical design consultancy focused on complex industrial food manufacturing facilities is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer or Architectural Technologist to join its team. The practice delivers high-value, technically demanding projects across the UK, working at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and process design. This role offers involvement from early concept stages through to construction within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Involvement across all project stages from concept to completionDaily Duties:
Develop coordinated Revit models, GA drawings, and construction details
Design layouts for production lines, cold storage, clean rooms, dispatch, and logistics areas
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM, fire strategy
Support projects through construction, responding to technical queries and site issues
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and statutory authoritiesIdeal Candidate:
Architectural Technician or Architectural Designer with several years UK based experience
Ideally a strong background in industrial buildings, ideally food manufacturing
Experience with large-scale steel and concrete industrial structures
Proven ability to produce coordinated technical drawing packages
Proficient in AutoCAD (essential), Revit experience preferred
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Site experience during construction beneficial
Able to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
