Job Description

Architectural Package Manager - Greater Manchester or Cambridgeshire Contract Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Works Package Manager to join a major pharmaceutical project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the delivery of large-scale new build and refurbishment cleanroom facilities within a highly regulated environment. The role will suit someone with experience managing architectural work packages on complex construction projects. Previous experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory or cleanroom environments is highly desirable, although candidates from other technically demanding sectors will also be considered. Responsibilities: * Manage the delivery of Architectural work packages from design through installation, commissioning, validation and final handover. * Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and project specifications. * Liaise with the client to understand project requirements and ensure successful delivery. * Coordinate architectural activities with all engineering and construction disciplines. * Communicate drawings, specifications and quality standards to site management and subcontractors. * Establish and maintain high standards of workmanship across all architectural packages. * Promote proactive problem solving and buildability throughout the project. * Attend project reviews, progress meetings and quality inspections. * Manage the procurement of architectural subcontract packages and specialist materials. * Prepare tender documentation, assess bids and recommend subcontract awards. * Coordinate package delivery to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Work closely with the project team to monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Client. Requirements: As an Architectural Package Manager, you will be responsible for managing the quality, coordination and delivery of architectural packages throughout the project lifecycle. You will have experience delivering complex construction projects and working closely with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion. Therefore, to be successful you should be competent in the following: * Proven experience managing Architectural packages on construction projects. * Experience delivering projects within pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, cleanroom or other highly regulated environments is preferred. * Strong understanding of quality management, construction sequencing and package delivery. * Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and supply chain activities. * IOSH Managing Safely qualification (minimum). * PRINCE2 or APM qualification is desirable. * Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction health and safety requirements. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft Project. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
