We are looking for an experienced Architectural Specifications Manager to lead the development and delivery of technical specification content, digital tools, and BIM assets that support product integration, compliance, and engagement with architects, specifiers, and consultants for a global manufacturer with their Head Office in South Wales
This is a strategic role for someone with a passion for precision, innovation, and collaboration across architecture, digital design, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain high-quality architectural specifications, BIM components, DWGs, and compliance documentation
* Drive the evolution of digital specification tools and content on platforms like NBS Chorus and BIM store
* Produce RIBA approved CPDs, technical brochures, and project-specific specification packs
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with evolving market needs
* Represent the business at industry events, webinars, and forums to elevate technical authority
The person
* Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience in technical specification writing and BIM (e.g., Revit)
* Solid understanding of UK construction standards, Uniclass/CSI systems, and compliance requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable presenting, collaborating cross-functionally, and engaging with specifiers and consultants
