Architectural Technician
Location: Exeter
Salary: £25-35,000 DOE
A well-established property and design practice with deep roots in the South West is seeking a Graduate to Intermediate Architectural Technician to join its growing architecture team at the Exeter head office. Specialising in small-to-medium scale residential projects, the team works on everything from bespoke new builds to conversions and extensions, offering integrated design and planning services from concept through to completion.

Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD for various project stages
Assist with feasibility studies, site surveys, and design development
Prepare documentation for planning applications and building regulations
Collaborate with in-house planning and development specialists
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to coordinate project delivery
Support design reviews and contribute creative ideas to project solutionsIdeal Candidate
Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or related field
Proficient in AutoCAD, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant project work
Interest or experience in small-to-medium scale residential projects
Understanding of UK planning processes and building regulations advantageous
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop within a growing design team
