Job Overview
Architectural Technician role in Southampton focused on technical delivery for residential developments. Suitable for an experienced technician working on UK housebuilder schemes, producing coordinated packages and supporting project delivery. Projects range from 30 to 300 units, offering exposure across multiple live commissions. The role suits someone confident managing workload and resolving technical issues with a clear pathway for progression within the business.

Role & Responsibilities

  * Produce detailed technical drawing packages

  * Manage projects from 30 to 300 units

  * Coordinate multiple live project workloads

  * Review drawings for quality and compliance

  * Act as key contact for clients

  * Resolve technical and construction issues

  * Support fee proposals and resourcing

  * Maintain delivery against programme deadlines

  * Collaborate with consultants and internal teams

  * Use AutoCAD across all project stages

Skills & Experience Required

  * Minimum 3+ years in UK residential projects

  * Strong AutoCAD technical drawing ability

  * Knowledge of UK building regulations

  * Experience on developer-led housing schemes

  * Ability to manage multiple projects

  * Experience reviewing team output

  * Strong technical problem-solving skills

  * Revit experience beneficial

Salary & Benefits
Up to £38,000, Hybrid working, pension, annual bonus, and travel incentives included.
