Architectural Technician

Salary: £35-45,000

A respected architectural practice based in Ely is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join its friendly, close-knit team. The studio is known for delivering high-quality work across the residential, leisure, commercial, and workplace sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to well-crafted, meaningful projects with a strong focus on technical detailing and buildability.

Support and lead project delivery across all RIBA work stages
Produce and coordinate comprehensive technical drawing packages
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
Ensure compliance with technical standards, deadlines, and budgets
Contribute to sustainable design solutions and detailed construction work
Prepare construction documentation, specifications, and schedulesRequirements:
HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology
CIAT membership is desirable
Proven experience working on UK-based projects
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Revit; experience with ArchiCAD is beneficial
Must be based within commuting distance of Ely
