Bennett & Game are proud to be working with a design-led, award-winning architectural practice based in Birmingham, currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their growing studio.
This well-established, mid-sized practice (24-strong and expanding) has built a respected reputation for delivering high-quality new-build and refurbishment schemes across the transportation, education, community, workplace, and residential sectors. Their approach combines technical rigour with a strong design ethos, and they continue to secure repeat work from high-profile clients across the UK.
With a hands-on, collaborative culture and a flat hierarchy, the successful candidate will join a close-knit team of design and technical professionals. Architectural Technician Job Overview
· Contribute to and lead the technical delivery of projects across RIBA Stages 1-6
· Produce high-quality working drawings and technical detailing using Revit and AutoCAD
· Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders
· Deliver projects across a range of sectors including residential, education, and commercial
· Support the realisation of design concepts through robust and practical technical solutions
· Maintain a proactive approach to quality, programme, and project delivery
Architectural Technician Job Requirements
· Degree-qualified in Architectural Technology or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (UK-based)
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
Good knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign (advantageous)
Strong technical ability, with a keen eye for detail and design delivery
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Based within a commutable distance of central Birmingham
Architectural Technician Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown
Hybrid Working & Flexible working hours - core hours are 9:30am to 5:00pm
