Architectural Technician – (Revit‑Focused)

Conrad Consulting are excited to be partnering with an award‑winning AJ100 practice in Surrey as they look to welcome a Revit‑focused Architectural Technician into their Guildford practice.

The Practice

This is one of Surrey’s most respected multidisciplinary studios,  a practice with over 100 years of architectural heritage, a national presence across London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and an impressive international footprint.

Their portfolio spans Retail, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Residential, Student Living and more, with a reputation built on quality, innovation and long‑standing client relationships.

With continued growth across the UK and a surge of new Retail projects, they are now looking to strengthen their technical team.

The Role – Architectural Technician (Retail)

This position is ideal for an Architectural Technician with 3–5 years’ experience, particularly those who thrive in fast‑paced environments and enjoy the technical demands of the Retail sector.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team where you’ll quickly take on more responsibility including job‑running opportunities, client coordination and the potential to lead small project teams as you progress.

This is a role with genuine long‑term development, offering a clear pathway to grow within a major UK practice.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technician 

• Degree in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND equivalent 

• Retail and commercial sector experience 

• Strong technical ability and understanding of UK regulations 

• Confident producing detailed technical drawings and packages 

• Revit proficiency (AutoCAD experience also beneficial) 

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach
