Architectural Technician / Technologist
Salary is dependent on experience
Cirencester
Monday – Friday – 9.00am – 5.30pm (Flexibility is offered with some working from home)
We are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our client based in Cirencester.
Requirements
* Ideally you will have MCIAT or MCIOB to complement their team of Chartered Building Surveyors and other Architectural Technicians.
* Minimum 5 years PQE
* Able to use AutoCAD.
* Undertaking accurate measured surveys and prepare survey drawings (not essential).
* Preparation of proposal/feasibility drawings for discussions with clients.
* Preparation of drawings to meet statutory requirements such as for planning application, listed building consent application, and building control submission.
* Must have experience with listed buildings, understand the planning system, and good building control knowledge.
* Good with clients and able to meet new clients and win work.
* Able to write schedules of work/specifications.
* Knowledge of JCT contracts (MW & IMW), contract administration experience, and project management experience.
* Able to manage own workload
* Need to have experience & knowledge of UK Architecture & Building Regulations
