Job Description
A well-established architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, the studio works closely with housebuilders and developers across the Midlands and throughout the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Technologist with a minimum of 7 years' experience, ideally gained within the residential sector. The practice specialises in volume housing, mixed-use schemes, and urban regeneration projects, offering a technically focused and collaborative environment.
About the Role
You'll be involved in the technical delivery of residential projects from planning through to completion. While job-running experience is beneficial, it's not essential. The role is office-based, though some flexibility on working hours may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning policies
Support project delivery across all RIBA stages
Contribute to design reviews and technical development
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years' experience in UK architectural practice
Strong background in residential architecture
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
