Job Title: Architect or Architectural Technologist
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £32-40,000 DOE

An award-winning architectural practice with over 90 years of experience and a talented team of 50+ professionals is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technician to join their Canterbury studio. The practice delivers a broad range of services including master planning, heritage consultancy, and principal designer services across the Residential, Heritage, Leisure & Hospitality, and Education sectors in Kent and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work on residential projects from inception through to completion within a collaborative, dynamic team environment.

Provide technical expertise and support to the design team
Develop detailed drawings and specifications
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and current standards
Coordinate design packages produced by the wider design team
Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality designs
Manage projects through all RIBA work stagesIdeal Candidate
Over several years post-graduation experience, ideally in the residential sector
Excellent design skills with strong knowledge of Building Regulations
Experience running projects through all RIBA work stages
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Revit is an advantage
Excellent presentation skills
Able to work collaboratively and contribute to a dynamic team environment
Experience delivering RIBA Stage 4-6 projects for major house building clients is desirable
