Job Description

A well-established and highly regarded architectural practice in the South West is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking studio delivering a wide range of projects across multiple sectors. The practice has built a strong reputation for high-quality design and technical delivery, and they are now looking to strengthen their technical team. The Role: You will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, working closely with architects and consultants across all RIBA stages. Responsibilities will include producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating information, and ensuring compliance with current UK building regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Produce accurate technical drawings and construction details * Work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants * Ensure projects meet UK Building Regulations and relevant standards * Assist in the coordination and delivery of projects on site * Contribute to project planning and technical problem solving Requirements: * Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a related field * Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist within the UK * Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations * Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit * Good communication and organisational skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a diverse project portfolio * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Ongoing professional development opportunities The office is based in a well-connected location just outside a major South West city, offering a great work-life balance and easy access to transport links.
