Job Title: Architectural Technologist
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

The Role: As an Architectural Technologist, you will report directly to the Technical Manager and Managing Director, taking on key responsibilities, including:
Assisting with planning applications
Conducting measured building surveys
Obtaining quotations for consultants
Preparing Building Regulations and working drawings packages
Carrying out site inspections and attending design team meetings
Liaising with client bodies, statutory authorities and design teams
Coordinating and reviewing design information
Ensuring compliance with client briefs and quality assurance procedures
Conducting design and health & safety risk assessments
Implementing NBS specifications
Architectural Technologist Requirements:
Relevant degree qualification
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an architectural practice
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) will be highly desirable; as will proficiency with ArchiCAD - however training will be provided to the right candidate
Ability to work across all RIBA work-stages and demonstrate a thorough understanding of building construction and UK Building Regulations
Strong project management skills
Willingness to embrace the collaborative culture
A driving license is required for site visits
Experience overseeing and mentoring team members
