Architectural Technologist / Technician – Residential Projects
Location: Suffolk / Essex Borders | Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE | Full-Time, Permanent
We are partnering with a small, design-driven architectural practice located on the Suffolk / Essex borders, specialising in residential projects. This growing studio is now seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to join their close-knit team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled individual looking to join a friendly and collaborative environment, with the chance to take real ownership of projects and work on high-quality residential schemes.

Key Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience as an Architectural Technologist or Technician—either within an architectural practice or client-side
*
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
*
Demonstrable expertise in RIBA Stages 4 & 5, with the ability to produce and manage detailed technical drawing packages and specifications
*
Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
*
Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
*
Strong attention to detail and confidence in delivering high-standard technical work
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Residential project experience is essential
*
Must be proactive, adaptable, and collaborative in approach
