Job Description
Our client based in the North East are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Architectural Technologist to join their team. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of architectural projects, working closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure technical excellence and compliance with building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, and Revit software.
* Collaborate with architects and design teams to translate conceptual designs into technical solutions.
* Ensure compliance with current building regulations, codes, and standards.
* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
* Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications.
Requirements:
* The successful candidate will have at least 5-10+ years’ post qualified experience.
* Multi-disciplinary or sector specialist project knowledge with high levels of experience in the technical detailing for Architectural projects and contract running.
* An eye for detail with the ability to develop/review information and drawings for accuracy and suitability.
* Excellent communication and design interpretation skills which allow clients to realise aspirations and deliver on technical requirements.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong Revit, CAD and manual drawing skills.
