Area Sales Manager – Conveyor & Power Transmission Belting

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop and grow sales across the South East of England, supporting customers in sectors such as Food & Beverage Processing, Packaging, Logistics & Distribution, Airports, Automotive, and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
*
Manage and develop relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end users within your region.
*
Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase market share.
*
Conduct on-site visits to assess customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
*
Work closely with the internal technical, applications, and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional service offering.
*
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify areas for growth.
*
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates.
*
Deliver persuasive product and solution presentations to engineering, operational, and procurement teams.
Candidate Requirements
*
Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (HND or equivalent considered).
*
Proven experience in conveyor belting, power transmission, or related engineered components.
*
Track record in technical sales and customer account management.
*
Ability to develop new business while nurturing long-term relationships.
*
Strong understanding of applications in Food & Beverage, Logistics, Manufacturing, Packaging, Airports, or Automotive.
*
Willingness to travel across the South East region.
